Report on Campus Placement Programme 


The Committee for Members in Industry (CMII) of ICAI organizes Campus Placement Programmes for all levels of Chartered Accountants at frequent intervals throughout the year and is committed to provide world class placement services to the Members and best accounting and finance talents to the industry.

In its endeavor to provide quality Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit and Management Consultancy personnel to recruiting entities, the Committee has successfully organized one more round of Campus Placement Programme for Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants at thirteen centres viz. Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Ernakulam, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and Pune in August-September, 2013.

Executive Summary
1.             Highest salary offered for Domestic posting in the Campus Placement Programme is Rs. 20 lacs Per Annum offered by Hindustan Unilever Ltd at Mumbai center to 1 candidate.
2.             Highest salary offered for International posting in the Campus Placement Programme is Rs. 24.64 Lacs per annum (10,800 Kuwaiti Dinnar) offered by Alghanim Industries at New Delhi center to 3 candidates.
3.             The minimum salary paid is Rs. 4.00 Lacs per annum.
4.             Average CTC offered was Rs 7.27 Lacs Per Annum.
5.             673* jobs were offered to the candidates who had participated in Campus Placement Programme.
6.             60 organizations and 105 Interview Teams have participated during the Campus Placement Programme.
Salient features

1.     Candidates were given two chances to meet the recruiting organisations via opting for two centers, first at smaller centers and second (if the candidates has not been selected at smaller centers) at bigger centers.
2.     The committee organised Orientation Programme for candidates so as to sharpen their soft skills and to provide them technical updates.
3.     All the candidates have been provided E-Learning on two topics, namely Business Etiquette-Gaining That Extra Edge and Mastering the Interview, free of cost during the Campus Placement Programme August-September, 2013.
